One of his friends online tells how he recently saw a man with the Mark of Shadaloo walking around, to which Rashid rushes and leads to Birdie. Rashid questions Birdie about where the Shadaloo base is located, and Birdie responds with a fight. Rashid wins the fight and proceeds to ask Birdie about Shadaloo, to which Birdie responds that he left. Rashid then explains that his friend was working at the S.I.N. lab before disappearing.
Character Relationships
As Nash fights Guile, Rashid introduces himself and announces that he will be taking Chun-Li’s piece, then defeats her as Azam holds off Cammy to prevent interference. Rashid apologizes but notices that Nash has defeated Guile and taken Guile’s piece. Nash escapes before Rashid can give chase, so Rashid flies off with Azam on a self-generated tornado.
Rashid’s Corner Escape Options
The main benefit of Enhanced OD Mixer is that it cancels to Arabian Skyhigh (j.214K) in mid-air, giving Rashid a high damage extension. This cancel also works on block, which may confuse the opponent enough for them to mess up their punish attempt. One last note about Rashid’s options here is that his moveset is both shockingly good at putting his opponent in the corner, but also letting him get out of it.
- Speaking of the corner, getting an air current down will allow you to create a substantial amount of pressure.
- The reaction to this glitch has been a mixture of laughter, uproar, and excitement from the online community.
- Timing is everything, and a faster-moving projectile may be able to catch you during the startup of both your Arabian Cyclone and your Whirlwind Shot.
- She gives him the coordinates to his location and also warns him to not get heavily involved with Shadaloo.
Street Fighter 6/Rashid/Combos
Rashid flies forward with a thrusting kick, dealing solid damage and corner carry. It is usually the preferred ender when possible, but the slow startup makes it much more restrictive in combos than Spinning Mixer. The great KD advantage lets Rashid set up his bag of tricks, like a fully charged Whirlwind Shot after the MK and HK versions. OD Eagle Spike can be used in combos to escape the corner and score some extra juggle damage. Rashid’s Slide can be used against most standard projectiles, but will not go under low ones like Juri 236LK or Rashid 236KK; the early frames of his meterless 236K is also low to the ground. Because Rashid has to perform a forward dash and wait 20f to start the slide, it is not practical as a pure reaction counter.
Links and Starters
You can combo this light Spinning Mixer into his Altair (⬇️↘️➡️⬇️↘️➡️ + P) super attack. Taking a quarter of your opponent’s health as a reward for hitting a crouching low kick is pretty nice. This well-rounded combo can be used to close distance, dodge projectiles, or unleash a colossal burst of damage from close range.
When Birdie rude-fully dismissing the person, he finally opens up when Azam starts to question him. They have a very close relationship and he follows Rashid nearly everywhere he goes. Although there are several times Azam scold Rashid, when the latter got carried away on his bizarre live streaming antics as a FooTuber. His second alternate costume has him wearing only a purple vest with gold outlines, blue-green baggy pants with a red obi, and a scimitar on his waist. He is barefoot and wears a white turban with a red gem in the center.
The follow-ups to Arabian Cyclone give Rashid extra mobility options to confuse the opponent and navigate through their defenses. Gliding with 4K lets Rashid perform a low-height float into an air normal that hits overhead; the unusual look of this glide tax deductions that went away after the tax cuts and jobs act can be confusing to defend against if you’re not looking for it. It also allows meterless combo extensions after 214HP juggles, usually ending with a j.HK knockdown. This gives decent meterless damage and corner carry from a Target Combo starter.
At the last minute, Rashid received a bittersweet message from his friend, in which she congratulated him for successfully stopping the Black Moons and told him to enjoy the rest of his life. Rashid then stood up and left with Azam, carrying with him a newfound resolve. In G’s character story, Rashid watches G on a video who made announcement as being the president of Earth and creates an open challenge. Rashid was eventually defeated by G due to his powerful fighting prowess, and also reveals that he manages to help him get more views on FooTube.
Rashid and Ryu proceed to fight, but Ryu pulls off a Shoryuken and defeats Rashid in a single blow. During his first encounter against her in another prequel comic of Street Fighter 6, despite finding out she uses poison attacks, Rashid was not aware that she is F.A.N.G.’s disciple. The only time where Rashid has been seen completely serious is during the final confrontation against F.A.N.G after the latter reveals that he killed Rashid’s friend. Rashid dubs him a „murderer”, brutally punches F.A.N.G around with his wind powers and even threatens to kill him, but holds back when F.A.N.G is knocked down.
Urien then shows interest in Charlie and engages him in a fight to see if he’s more than a mere puppet (since he helped resurrect Nash), after overpowering him Urien decides to kill him on a whim. Before a fight could ensure, Kolin got between them and begged Urien’s forgiveness. Because the grounded version switches sides, you generally want to avoid ending a grounded combo with this Super if the opponent is near the corner.
This mid-air jump allows him to change the trajectory and speed of his jumps and allows for some insane aerial combos. He can roll under projectiles or launch himself forward (which gives him an overhead too!). This is a standard combo you can land off of your J.MK cross-up.
